How does the EPN Pen work?

EPN Pen combines electroporation and Microneedling technology to give clients maximum skin rejuvenating results through the stimulation of the skins own wound healing process and the increased absorption of active ingredient products.

What is Microneedling?

Microneedling is a minimally invasive treatment used to target a variety of skin conditions on the face and body. Ultrafine needles are used to penetrate the skin at a variety of depths to create a wound healing response. This in turn encourages the skin to produce new collagen and elastin to give patients smoother, younger-looking skin.

What is Electroporation technology?

EPN Is the abbreviation for an Electroporation needle. It is a therapy to rejuvenate the skin using microneedles stimulating the dermis without any scarring and boosting the natural skin healing process and collagen production.

Electroporation is a technique in which an electrical field is applied to cells in order to increase the permeability of the membranes, allowing products to be introduced into the cell more efficiently.

Its application to the skin has been shown to significantly increase transdermal product delivery.

How long does it take to see results from Microneedling?

Some clients feel a difference in the elasticity of their skin in as little as 24 hours. However, the long-lasting results will be seen between 4-6 weeks post-treatment as this is the time frame in which it takes the body to produce new healthy collagen and elastin.

How many EPN Pen treatments will I need?

Treatment intervals and the total number of sessions vary for each client depending on their individual skin concerns. Generally, we would recommend a course of 4-6 sessions following a review to determine if any further sessions are required.
