EVERYONE NEEDS A BIT OF DE-STRESS TIME, NOW MORE SO THAN EVER!

One effective way I find helps me relieve stress, is to use a simple 3-minute breathing exercise which can be repeated during your day, where-ever you are.

Explained below is HOW, WHY AND WHO SHOULD DO IT

The 3-minute deep breathing stress buster

HOW TO DO IT:

  1. Sit, stand or lay in a comfortable position hands rested on your knees or at your side, close your eyes and exhale.
  2. Inhale through your nose steadily whilst mentally counting to 5 and expanding your belly as much as is comfortable (Imagine you are inhaling calm, filling your lungs and belly with air at the same time).
  3. Exhale through your mouth steadily whilst mentally counting to 5 (Imagine you are exhaling all your stress) and repeat for 3 minutes.

WHY DO IT?

It can be good for:

Relieving stress, anxiety and panic

Reducing blood pressure

Aid pain relief

Improve sleep

Increase cardiovascular capacity

WHO IS IT GOOD FOR?
